Sink Reflections.....

So I got this book today at the library!!!!  I've been waiting & waiting & waiting for it to come in!!!  I'm super super stoked!!!

Have you checked out THE FLY LADY yet!!!!????  Ok so I've started this book tonight!!!!  First thing is to shine the sink!!  And as we speak it's soaking & after it's done soaking I'll be scrubing the outside & top & then we are done!!!

And for breakfasts I broke out some of the strawberry freezer jam I made------YUMMY YUMMY!!!!!

Saturdays are Rough!!!

We had a rough day today me & Hoss.......that would be 9:27 AM.  Yep after darling hubby left for work......me & Hoss slept til 9:27 in the MORNING!!!!!!!!!  I haven't done that in YEARS!!!!

And boy it felt good!!!!!!

Then I went thru my box of goodies I got from Febreze that I got from House Party!!!!  You should go sign up for some of the parties!!!!  They are very cool & send you TONS of stuff so you can have your friends over for a party!!!!!

And we worked on my SCENTSY extras basket!!!  I've got loads of extras I need to work on!!!!  I see giveaways in the future for all my great customers!!!

And then.......

It was nap time!!!!

Menu for the week

YEAH it's a new week & a new time to start a challenge!!  I ALWAYS want to stick to a menu.....and I ALWAYS sit down on Saturdays & think man it would be SO nice to come home everyday from work & know what the night is going to hold.  Know that I'm gonna cook this for dinner....then walk the Horse, do alittle laundry etc etc etc.

WELL..........................I'm gonna start one wish at a time & gonna plan out my menu for the week on Saturdays for 1 month.......I can do this I KNOW I can!!!!  Then once I have done it for a month......it SHOULD be an automatic & I can move onto my next wish.....of having a dog that isn't bouncing off the walls ALL THE TIME!!!!!!

Soooooo here is my menu for this week......


Sunday: Ham, baked taters, greenbeans, deviled eggs & rolls

Monday:Sandwiches, chips & fruit

Tuesday:Country Peppers (VERY VERY Excited about this one), peas

Wednesday:Ham LO (leftover)

Thursday:Shepards Pie

Friday:Hubby is taking me out (he just doesn't know it yet!!!!)

Saturday:BBQ Chicken on the Grill

Nanner Pudding Cake!!!

So this is the start of my Nanner Pudding Cake.  I took a yellow cake mix, which I mixed a box of Nanner pudding into....cooked it per the directions on the box in a bundt pan.  (And everytime I say bundt pan....I think of the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding")

Anyways...after it cooled I cut it in half & made a little well  thru the middle of the bottom layer....which I FILLED with Nanner pudding mixed with Coolwhip & topped it with nanners.

Then put the top on....covered with vanilla icing...and then topped with somemore Nanner pudding!!!

ENJOY!!!!!!

See this nice quiet peaceful creek!!!!  Isn't it lovely!!  It's in our backyard & it's my little peace of heaven!!!

But when you add this to the creek....

And the creek......it's not to peaceful & quiet any more!!!  But we sure are tired after a whole day of playing in it!!!!

Not much exciting happening in Hoss's World today!!!  We just got in from our 2nd walk.....and Mommy is DRAGGING!!!!!!  I'm gonna take a small breather....check a few blogs then off to do some reading!!!

I'm reading a book on Isaiah and doing a Bible Study on Isaiah.  Just started it & am trying to make sure to do atleast a 30 minute study every day!!!  So far so good!!!!!

Heaven......I'm in Heaven!!!

Chocolate Heaven that is!!!!!!!!!  Have you tried Dove Chocolates yet???  I'm telling you.......YOU GOTTA GOTTA GOTTA try it!!!!!

I got this great package from Debbie the other day & in it was a receipe for a drink called Creamy Minted Hot White Chocolate!!!  And yes....Mint & Chocolate are 2 of my FAVS!!!  So put them together...and I'm in Heaven!!!!!

The receipe calls for.....
14 oz of milk
20-30 mint leaves (which I didn't have BUT I did have Andies candies...so I did a little substitute)
1 packet of DCD Frosty White Chocolate Smoothie Mix (which Debbie sent me.....LOVE HER!!!)

You bring the milk to a boil...remove from heat add mint leaves...cover & let stand for 3-5 mins. Strain out the mint & return milk to saucepan.  (I just melted the Andies in the milk once it started to get warm)

Add Frosty White Chocolate Smoothie Mix....whisk to combine.  Serve Hot.

And sit back AND ENJOY!!!  Even Hubby said....that's some good stuff!!!  You GOTTA keep that receipe.

Cleaning Solution

So the other day when I made cooked the sausage up for my Make Ahead Breakfasts I had this YUCKY pan to clean!!!!

So how did I clean it...........I didn't scrub it.......I didn't use any elbow grease......I didn't even break a sweat!!!

Filled the pan with water & Dawn Dish Liquid

Put it on the stove and brought it to a boil

Let it sit for a few mins.............

And Presto Change oh........

A clean pan!!!!!

Memorial Day

We spent the day hanging out today!!!!  This morning we ran some errands.....went to the farmers market.....picked up my WONDERFUL CATHERINE'S deal that I got the other day.

Then came home & had a little cookout!!!!  Played in the creek & in the rain.  I love it when we are both home & just have fun!!!!

He hates it when I take his picture!!!  But he's so cute how could I not!!!!!  Don't you just want to pinch him!!!!!  One day I'll get how BLUE his eyes are in a good shot & you'll see how no girl could resist him!!!!

And him well he's just to cute to!!!  But he's even cuter now that he's wore out......................

Titus 2

So I started my quiet time today checking out different women's blogs.  Women that want to be close to the Lord, women that do for their family, women that have houses that are in wonderful order, women that have families that love each other & get along.

And while reading these different blogs I found one that mentioned Titus 2 so of course I had to go & read it!!!!!!

I'm thinking of adding this to my do list tomorrow.  It's been on my heart lately that so many of us are of the world & have to have the last & greatest of everything.  That's not the way we should be.  We just like it says need to live soberly, righteously & godly.  So that's going to be at the top of my To Do List everyday......Be Godly, Righteous & Live Soberly.

What does Live Soberly mean???  If you look sober up in the dictionary it says "not under the influence of passion; serious; solemn; calm; temperate".  So if you think of being sober as not under the influence.....then you are calm, in your right mind, thinking Godly good thoughts, not being of the world.....then there you go.  We Christian women should want to Live Soberly right???

Make Ahead Breakfasts

Frozen Biscuits (shhhhh don't tell my MIL), cook per the instructions on the package

Sausage Patties

Scrambled Eggs w/onions & chedder cheese

Once the eggs are cooled....then I get a biscuit cutter & cut a portion of the eggs

Foil

See Easy as can be!  Make them up......put them in the freezer......then the night before move them to the fridge to do alittle thawing.  Zap them in the microwave for about a min & 1/2.  And instant easy breakfast....that you didn't have to slave over early in the morning!!!!

This is a great thing to have the kids help with to.....they can put the biscuits together...help you wrap them up & then even zap them themselves!!!

Easy Breakfast

I'm not sure if I have told you or not......but my hubby is alittle off in the head sometimes.  We get up BEFORE the roosters crow, eat breakfast, let the Horse out, and go lay back down!!!  I know CRAZY right????  But because it's SOOOOO EARLY that we get up....I'm not all about cooking at that time in the am.  WHO IS???? 

So here is what I do...........

Today is Saturday & I make Make Ahead Breakfasts

AND
